As a member you and your family members have access to a national network of over 64,000 participating dentist**. Members save an average of 32 percent*** off some of the most commonly performed dental services. X-rays and cleanings, as well as crowns, root canals, and braces are all available at discounted fees.
The Cigna Dental Network Access program is a reduced fee for service program that provides discounts at certain providers and is designed to save you money on most dental needs; your final cost will depend upon the type of dental work performed as well as your geographic location.
Important: You must pay the reduced cost for the dental services at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements are made with the provider. This program can be used with other dental insurance/indemnity plans. If there is a Co-pay on the procedure you are having, then we recommend you use your Cigna Dental Network Access program to lower your out of pocket expenses. To use Cigna Dental Network Access and your insurance/indemnity plan together, you must go to a Cigna Provider, which can be found at www.locateprovider.com or by calling us toll free at the number listed on the front of your membership card. We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week excluding holidays for your convenience. There are no out of network benefits in this plan. Simply pay the reduced bill in full at the time services are rendered and then submit the claim to your dental insurance/indemnity carrier. You must send the claim into your insurance/indemnity carrier as the provider's office is not required to do this for you. Cigna Dental Network Access can't be combined with any other discount or capitated plan.
To access the dental network: Simply visit our website at www.locateprovider.com or call the toll free number listed on the front of your membership card. The customer service representative will request your name, membership number and zip code. You will be provided with the names and telephone numbers of participating dentists in your community. Please make sure to identify yourself as a Cigna Dental Network Access member when making an appointment with a participating dentist.
If you are currently working with a dentist with whom you are happy, you may ask them to contact us at the toll-free number listed on your membership ID card. A provider application will be sent to them promptly. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee acceptance by either the Cigna Dental Network Access program or the dentist.
